Re: what Nissan for me?
I loved all three of the Hardbodies and the one Path that I've owned -they were very capable in stock form. The only thing that bugged me was the lack of aftermarket gear. I would buy one again in a heartbeat even if just for the reliability and the highly capable stock 4x4 setup. I ran 31's with no rubbing on both my 94 pickup and the 92 Path, over time and hard use the front torsion bars seem to droop but replacement aftermarket ones usually fix the problem. The body lift options suck because of steering issues, the suspension lift suck because of IFS. They basically lower all the front end components meaning you need bigger and bigger tires to get more clearance. My 92 had over 360k on the dial before I sold it, a testament to a well maintained KA24 4 cylinder with no rebuilds!
