What must be replaced soon\\how much is it worth???

I am looking at a 1975 cj5 with the 304,3 speed, dana 44 rear. It has a superlift, fiberglass body, full roll cage, 33 in tires, power steering and all drum brakes. The interior is in good shape and it comes with a soft top. It is at 95000 miles. What will need to be repaired or replaced in the next few thousand miles looking at the milage? Is there anything with the year that i need to look for as far as wear and components that are regularly replaced? How much would be a fair price for this. Thanks

Mileage is not a good indicator to go by with jeeps. If always street driven and unmodified, then yes but they seldom are. Most of the things needing attention will be small such as ball joings, tie rod ends, wheel bearings and spring bushings. Be sure to check the frame carefully looking for rust. Poke around it with a screwdriver to make sure it is solid. Also look for cracks. If the frame is good, it sounds like a pretty solid platform to maintain.

Thanks for the info, one thing that i noticed is that the transfer case had a slow leak, is this hard to repair or is it just a gasket kit?
