Hello,

I was wondering what the best power programmer is for the money. I have been looking at Hypertech III's, does anyone have or use one of these programmers? If so, how good did it work & is it worth the money? Any other information on other brands would greatly be appreciated.

Thanks,

for the money spent on it, most agree that it isnt worth the cost. you can get teh same increases via different methods, like headers and what not. it is convenient because you can adjust your PCM for new tires and gears. if you're lifting and going with bigger tires, yeah its prolly worth it.

i have a "superchips" programmer for my 99 and it helped a little bit. It also will read check engine codes versus the others that don't. best price i found was around 320.00. it added low end torque because i really could not turn the tires, but now i can, but you only really notice it when you put your foot all the way to the floor.
