What does it take to put in a Chevy V6 in place off 225V6

I was wondering about the possibility of a Chevy V6 to bolt in in place of my 225 V6. I have the 225 in my 63 CJ5. It is attached to a t-90 and dana 18. Will my bellhousing and such work with it since it is already hooked to at GM engine.
Thanks for any help

The bellhousing is a different pattern where the engine bolts to it, and you will have to change the motor mounts also. If you can get the proper Chevy belhousing, it should fit right on the original Jeep transmission. Advance Adapters and others make the mount kits. Their catalog on Jeep swaps with Chevy engines is worth the cost. Hope this helps, good luck!

Thank you for the info
