I am currently discussing with Jeep enthuisasts I know the possibility of forming a Jeep Club where I am from (Zelienople, PA)
This is in Butler County, PA (home of the birthplace of the Jeep - Bantam Jeep) - This is in Western PA. I have been doing some
research into this. There does not seem to be any formal JEEP club in Western PA (There is a 4x4 club out of the Pittsburgh area
but this is not Jeep only) I have obtained the proper paperwork to organize this as a non-profit educational corporation (i.e. PA Jeeps
out of York (central), PA has this status). We have been kicking around some possible names and the best one we have comeup with so far
is Allegheny Jeep Alliance (see attached possible logo). I am still in the early stages of this and would appreciate any feedback, tips
comments, or interest. I spoke to a gentleman last week who owns a Bantam Jeep who is interested in the formation of this club.

Count me in! I've asked around and have never found a club close to Pittsburgh. I go to school at Penn State, but would love a club for the summertime back home. I'm in North Hills and would be very interested in joining or helping out any way I can. Keep me posted. Thanks, Brian

G
brian, do you still have that cj-5 frame in the woods? how much would you want for it?
thanks, john cummings

Hi Rick,
I'm with Triangle Four Wheelers in Pittsburgh (see http://www.triangle4wd.com) and your post caught my attention. It would be really good to have more off-roading clubs in Western PA. If there is any way we can assist to help you get this club started, please don't hesitate to contact us. East Coast Four Wheel Drive Association (EC4WDA) can also help you get started. Our club and other off-roading clubs in Western PA are commited to working together more closely for the benefit of our sport, so we would welcome the opportunity to network and share with your club.
