This is in regards to my last post about my wierd tranny..................I got out to the parking lot today and decided what the hell lets see what she does......I turned it on and put in in drive and it worked, pulled forward 10 feet, and put her in reverse..........it worked. I didn[t want to push it anymore............does that help anybody in diagnosing my problem? Could it be that I am just low on fluid? and it settled down over night and worked today? Thanks
Thanks guys, oh and I always scoope stuff out in my Chiltons before any project, and I didn't see anything like what you guys are saying in the short time that I glanced at it yesterday, its finals week so I have 5 to 6 other books to study at the same time, this was a bad time for this little problem. I apprecaite all the info guys.
Nobody really answered that question.... why did it go back into gear fine and pull ahead and in reverse? Is that a good sign that maybe my fluid was low? It all settled over night and was able to get into gear just fine? I am changing the fluid this weekend when finals are all over. I am going crazy cuase I want my Jeep back. Its snowing at home and I wanna go play!!!!!!!!
