I have a Weber which has man anti-stall upgrades and mods done to it. However, if I wasnt to go REALLY slow up a REALLY steep and rocky hill and I have to stop, it will definately stop running. My carb is not turned around, that is the ONLY thing I havent done yet. I was wondering if turning it around so the body of the carb is towards the front of the vehicle would eliminate this? I know several of you guys on here have turned yours around with great success. But I would like my vehicle to run even if its near verticle! hehe I do extreme stuff.
For those of you who were at the Melt last year, there was a hill in a rocky area near a barn and a pond. There are 2 hills you can try to climb, one to the right, and one to the left. The one to the left was only conquered by Spidertrax's Arachnid vehicle, from what I heard. Its this type of hill that I am talking about. I tried climbing it, and of course didnt make it. And of course my truck stopped running. I just had to let it coast down. If any of you guys know the hill I am talking about, and have flipped your Weber around and think it would help even this extreme wheeling, let me know before I got to the Melt!

i have flipped my weber around also. it works going up steep inclines, but it may stall going down. i solved this by installing a fuel pressure regulator and set it to 1/2 pound. seems to work.

I did that, and just installed my weber today, I set it up fuel bowl to the front, I went up and down this little but steep about 8 foot hill, the only reason I stalled is I had it in 2 HI, now I know that isnt a very long high hill, but it was very steep, greater then 45* maybe close to 60*

I have done every possible mod and more to my Weber ACCEPT the flip around. Some of the stuff I have done needs to be in an article on my website...I will do one soon. Just want it to be totaly reliable when I do my extreme stuff.
