Weber on a 2.5L?

Trying to find out about putting a 32/36 Weber on a 85 2.5L. This is my first time messing around with 4 cyls. or Webers. I need to know if the mounting base of all Webers or at least 32/36s are the same. I have seen several 32/36 setups made for the 2.5L, but I'm not sure if they have a special base or if any one will work on the stock intake. I don't want to spend $400 on the carb listed for the 2.5 if any of them will work.
