iv'e read some where before that a wbber 32dgr fitted to a suzuki sj413 can be modified to stop it cutting out on hills. iv'e downloaded some basic instructions but could do with some diagrams/photos or even a link to a site to help out
Next do a search on it. Sarge is "The Weber Man" and he's written volumes about Webers. He also does the mods you mentioned as well as other work on them....
Ok , so is it a DGA or DGV? If it's the older style DGV, there is a set of instructions on izook.com about closing off the vent area behind the air jets . I do this quite often , but add an extended vent tube to aid in keeping fuel out of the air jets . Also, set the float to 1.5" and 1.75" max drop , helps quite a bit . Keep the fuel pressure down around 2.5, or even 1.5psi offroad as well . Float bowl to the rear, ect...
