I have a 91 YJ, and I haven't a clue as how to identify what types of differentials I have or what type of transmission. Could someone give me a little insight? Much appreciated.

Do you have a 2.5L Motor, or do you have a 4.0L That makes a difference when you are talking about transmissions. You have an NP231 Transfer case, your rear axle is a Dana 35C clip. (not a lot of people like thiese) You front axle is a Dana 30. And if you have a 2.5L motor, your R&P is 4.10:1
