I am considering an 87warrior or a 91 timberwolf. Both in exc condition. $1500
Has anything major changged on the warrior over the years? Which would be
better as far as handling, reliability, suspension, parts availability?
I would be using as a play machine. thanks for any help!!

Nothing major has changed since the beginning of the Warrior except the appearance. I would say the Warrior. I haven't ridden a Timberwolf, but I'd think that the Warrior would be the better quad for the things you want.

In 87-88' the warrior used "J" arms in the front suspension. they have been replaced by "A" arms. other that that all years are the same. The Timberwolf is a 250cc. and is a slug when it comes to power.

MY FRIEND HAS A '96 TIMBERWOLF AND IT SUCKS HES ALREADY HAD
TO REPLACE THE STEERING AND THE REAR AXLE. IWOULD GO WITH THE WARROIR.
