i had a pair on the rear of my jeep that were six inches bolt center to bolt center. they are plenty strong.

yeah they are good but I recommend you get the greasable type

yeah they have the durability but is this going to raise the jeep 1 1/2 or is that the over all lenth? if that is how much u get for a lift is that a little to much? not that i should talk i have confers heavy duty shakles!! but they are way to long for a shakle!! I cant wait to get smaller ones!
