i heard that Warn is not going to be making the Black Diamond line any more. Is this true? What about parts etc.? I was looking at the 3" kit from them. Is this a good lift-kit? Would be using it on an '85 CJ-7 and 31" tires.

there are always rumors floating around. i do not see warn getting rid of black diamond, and a call to warn has confirmed to me that things are changing, but not going away. the 3in kit is a good kit and warn stands behind their stuff.

Jon,
the best i can elaborate at this time is that warn as a whole is going thru some changes. the gentleman i spoke to could only tell me that black diamond is restructuring and directing their focus on hardcore off road products. i hope to have more information next month.
