I picked up an old 8274 from a friend. I installed it on the Scrambler, but when I plug in the remote and trigger it, all I hear is a clicking. I thought the motor wasn't engaging but after pushing in and pulling out the "clutch", nothing different happened. Is this something I did wrong? Anyone know the fix? Thanks!

Could be a couple of things. Check the wiring and ensure that the control pack is wired to the motor correctly. Have the motor tested. Most battery-starter-alternator shops will do this for free. If both of the above check out you are in need of replacing the solenoids.

my 8274 did this too. get a screw driver and jump the solinoid. that will see if the switch is bad, or hook some battery jumper cable directly to the motor to see if the solinoid are bad
