I am considering getting a dana 44 front axle from a 78 wagoneer. I have an 80 CJ-5. What would i have to do to change the six lug pattern of the wagoneer to the 5 lug pattern of my cj

Go find the rotors off of a ford bronco or p/u of about the same year.I dont know exactly what yaer parts I used, but it worked for me. The only thing that you might run into is the size difference in the back bearing.I know for fact that I used the spindles off of a 76 dana 44 from a blazer.

If you narrow the axle to stock CJ width you can use all the CJ outers, shafts, knuckles, spindles, calipers, rotors and hubs.

I'm doing the front 44 swap and plan on using all scout outers.

I have to buy the whole frontend to get parts, anyone want a front 44 for $150?
