Why not title is as something earlier than a 76, i'm guessing this is for your brother beast? Why not title is erilier if he ever has to deal with emissions, also i'm guessing insurance would be less if he's actually going to try and register the thing and drive it on the street.

 

Hi, it is actually for my jeep. I can register my cj as an antique auto if the vin is older than 25 years and then I dont need an inspection sticker.

For my brothers rig, we can register that as a tractor and get a 10 mile radius around the house for local trails. other then that it will be trailerd to farther locations.

i have a 68 CJ5 Pa.title and vin I bought for my 84 CJ7 . I live in ohio and if you transfer a title from another state the vehicle has to be physicaly inspected. I paid 85.00 on flea bay for it. Id gladly sell it for close to that. I recentlly bought a trashed 79 CJ7 with a good Ohio title so I don't need the Pa. title anymore my e mail is gojohnnygo1@yahoo.com

 

Thanks anyway, but In the state of Maine you dont need a title for a vehicle older than 1984. so a title is not needed and it has to be for a CJ7 to work. I just need the vin on the firewall. I know someone on here must have one!! Please help. Mike

A 79 wouldnt work until next year. If I can get a regular sticker then I would be able to wait til next year. But I am not sure if that is possible.
