volt meter

what all is involved in installing a volt meter to the alt? i would think its just the gauge, and a wire going to the idiot light sensor... does this sound about right?

You can actually hook the voltmeter to any 12 volt (+) wire and ground(-). I had one on a car that I just hooked in parallel with the radio wires. Jim
