Just to let you know......do not open any email that has attachments in the next few weeks...unless you're covered by the newest virus protection.
Someone who has my email address in their Outlook address book must have opened the virus, I had three emails in my inbox. I didn't open them but went ahead and deleted them and also removed them from my trash can too.
This virus is spreading like wildfire.....so just be careful on what you are opening.

I've been buried in adware scum so I downloaded Spysweeper and AVG 7.0. Between the 2 programs, over 30 viruses and over 1600 spy cookies were found. I deleted them or locked em up. My computer hasn't moved this fast in several weeks.

I've gotten about 100 emails in the past 48 hours due to these viruses. A big pain in my butt. The University's mail servers are definitely getting bogged down. Mail is moving at a snail's pace.

Just thought to post that if you switch to a webmail style email account, and dont use outlook, that youll cut out about 99% of viruses. This applies to the average home pc user.

I haven't gotten any virus e-mail this week yet but I turned up the span & virus protection to maximum at my ISP's site. Also run & update the Ad-ware each week. I have Norton also but seldom does anything get to it. Before installing Ad-ware and turning up the protection the Norton would catch several virus each week. If your using a ISP, you should be able to contact then or visit their web site and up grade your protection (for free). They ususally don't advertize this service or will want to up grade your service.

Oh by the way, if your considering AOL (Time-Warner). They donate to several anti hunting and enviromental groups that are anti off-road . Your money your choice!
