I get the "Klez Worm" sent to me all the time. My antivirus always picks them up though. I guess they come from the porn sites????? Who said porn?

Hahahahhahaha.... what's Porn?

AntiVirus software...that's part of the key.
AND it's most important to make sure that your AV software has the most recent DAT (virus signature) files.

I use NAI AVD (Formally McAfee) in our Enterprise here, and it updates every Thursday @ 12am

FYI - McAfee offers free daily updates.....

I stop 20/30 copies of W32/[email protected] and W32/[email protected] a day on average. If you are server based make sure that you have the NAI set up on your exchange server as well as all of your desktops. I would suggest setting up auto-update of your *.dat files EVERY night, I have mine set up to run at 2:00am Denver time.

Not paranoid, well maybe...

Ahhhh a fellow ADMIN!

Hahahahahaha.... yep. I have my EPO running my Dat updates everyday @ 1:00am EST.

Gotta' love automation.

No such thing as Paranoia in SysAdmin.

It's more like just waiting for the bomb!

Yipes! Norton... stay away!!

Make sure you do a really good *UNINSTALL* of your Norton, before you put McAfee(NAI) on.

There have been some known issues.....
