I appreciate the post. I'm still serving and proud of it, but not near as proud as I am of America's sons and daughters that I have the priviledge to serve with. Don't believe everything you read in the papers. The all-volunteer (some would say all-recruited) force works. Today's Army is the best, brightest, and most professional in the history of the nation, in spite of having shrunk from 750,000 active duty down to 480,000 active duty and 555,000 guard and reserve since Desert Storm. As we approach the Army's 225th birthday (June 14th), rest assured that we will keep it that way.
