I am preparing to change my valve gasket. I have an 85 CJ7 with a 6/258 engine. The sun is shining today and I am making some big plans but, I decided it would be a good idea to get some "professional" input. So, I would appreciate any helpful hints on what to do and what not to do when changing out the valve gasket. Thanks Hit

If it's the stock plastic cover, the best thing I found was a bead of ultra-black silicon gasket goop. Put it on the valve cover, let it setup for
about 10 minutes, and then install the cover.
