60 bux to my door. Blank 3/8" header flange. I do not know if I am going with the log setup or the individual runner/header style of turbo manifold. I've got an IHI VJ11 turbo (.42 and .42/.48?). Time to get this turbo thing going!!

I haven't been following all the posts, but was that for the 16V? I didn't know Davesport sold them.... I have a few 3/8 flanges made up for the 16V. I had them made up last year when I was on a turbo kick....now I am hot on the trail of a 2.0 in a Zuk! Damn things are hard to find!

Nope, my .02 cents says no turbo with the 1.6 16v (weak). I've got the GTI hybrid in my samurai (NOTE, THIS IS NOT FOR THE SLAMURAI! She gets a rotary
). I'll be buying the weld ells (elbows) and mocking up the setup. Look for pictures. Sarge, could I modify the weber to run as a blow through setup? Large secondaries, brass float, proper fuel controll (pressure, flow)? Suggestions? This EFI might get a little complicated

Sweet! I saw the Davesport flange and was planning to get one too. Did you get the stainless.

I was also planning to built my own.I think this is the the one that I'm partial to:

No, I went with the mild steel. The stainless is only 15 dollars more. I do have access to a tig and a mig (really nice school units) so welding would not be a problem. It's the cost of the other material. The tube sections are like 20 dollars each (didn't search very much though). I know how to mig so I went with the easy stuff. I've got access to lots of sheet/plate steel so the collector formation and the turbo flange should not be a problem. The initial design may be difficult to narrow down.
