What's an easy way to figure out which tranny I have on my '90 YJ? I know there were a few different trannies that came on the YJ's and I need to know which one I have. It's a 4 cyl YJ with 5 spd. manual tranny.

all wranglers that used the 4cyl engine and its a 5-speed from 87-95is the AX-5

But didn't some of the YJs come with a Peugot tranny?

they only came with the puegot tranny up to the beginning-middle of the 89 model year. jamey williams
