I have an 1989 Wrangler with 4.2 Haven't been able to ID the trans. Its a 5 speed Manual. I get a lot of differant info. Anyone know for sure? Oh did TFI today. It seems to make a differance.

either a pougoet ba10 or an ax15. if it splits down the middle like a clam shell then it's a puke and go if it's made like a normal trans than it's an ax15.

Thats the easiest way to tell.(if it's never been changed)
