this is my frist post so dont give me a hard time . i have a 90 yj that will not lock into 4 wheel it does not seem to have any vacume at the front axle or at the transfer case i checked axle shift fork it works ok eng is 6 cyl 5 spd trans any help would be graet thanks

As I recall, the solution was under the battery, where the vacuum hoses were deteriorated. Hopefully, your post will attract some guys who drive YJs and will give you the scoop. When you post, be sure to add moonguys/wwwthreads_images/icons/wink.gif/wwwthreads_images/icons/laugh.gif.
