however the tranny from a wagoneer/J truck or cherokee ( fullsizewd Jeeps) 1980 and after would bolt to the rear adapter on that scout tranny, and then you would be set.
the better easier solution is to get a Full sized Jeep tranny, and it will bolt to a Jeep Dana 300
