just an FYI

went by the jeep dealership and asked how much it would cost to order the "trail rated" badge that they are now placing on all the 2004 jeeps.

well they said it would be $19 and change, i will keep opinions to myself about that price - but thought you guys would like to know

also they arent that big either, like maybe 2 inch diameter.

Well, don't that just suck!! I posted awhile back about those. I contacted Jeep/Chryco via their website, in response I got an 800 telly. I called 'em, explained that my 04 Overland didn't have one and asked how I could go about getting one. First, they said they didn't have extras then they sent me one in the mail with a nice letter and installation instructions followed by another package a badge the following week. All for the GRAND price of NADA, ZIP, ZERO, FREEBIE..... (like they say on Monster Garage).

yeah they are supposed to beon all 04 models, at least that is how i understood it. so that is why you got yours at such a discount

yeah so dont think that they would do that for my XJ no matter what the year.

They sent me one for my 89 xj free of charge.I just went to jeep.com and told them I was interested and they sent me one.I'm glad I did'nt pay because it definately is'nt worth more than .25 cents,it's so small you barely notice it.
