Okay, I finally broke down, and decided to lift my TJ regardless of warranty, and it only has 1500 miles. I already have 33's in the garage, and I want to go with a 4 inch lift. I just started researching, and I liked the look of Trailmaster, and heard a lot of good things about them, such as on road characteristics aren't bad at all. Heard pro comp was pur crap.. Superlift has some crazy prices for incomplete kits, my question is has anyone put a trailmaster kit on their TJ, or any other kit for that matter, and how do they like it? How's articulation/wheel travel, on road characteristics, price, and what not? would you recommend? And Would 35's be trouble with 4 inch lift, or should I get an extra 1 inch body on top to run 35's.. Thanks in advance for the help, I know you guys can help me out. Even if you have a YJ, or CJ, if you've heard anything about brands, fill me in on what works for you.. Thanks!

It can't be done? HA, they MUST be crazy...

Most people I know over here in the U.K. with a TJ run the 6" Skyjacker system with the Currie anti-rock sway bar. They seem to get them on advice of other people running the system. I also know some run the RE kit, but are not as pleased as the ones with the Skyjacker. Somebody over here also designed a dual front shock setup which seems to work great. I don't know if he is actually selling this design or just manufactures it on request...

Thanks for the reply.. Six inches is a bit more than what I'm shooting for right now. Later on I may add a body lift for the next set of meat I get. I'll have to check out their system a bit more. Thanks for the reply!

Something to think about, if you have air conditioning on a TJ, 1" is all you can lift the body.

why is that?

Give me some fresh air, and give me that farm, give me some time with you in my arms, cause I'm gonna feed my soul, where the black top ends...

I am sure they do smaller lifts than 6". I am just saying what they run over here, but in general people seem to be quite pleased with the Skyjacker systems.

Not too sure about the Trail Master, but with my 4" Tera Flex the tire(33") will very slightly rub the fenders(not flares) at full flex with sway bars disconnected. I could run 35" tires without rubbing if I did not disconnect the sway bars.
