Cripes!
Got a welder?

Here's the "temp" fix.

I don't give it a snowball's chance in he*l on the trail, but it should hold up OK for my trip to Missoula this week.
See, you should never throw anything out!

That's a shock mount that came in some kit, probably 10 years ago.

So, looks like I need to "beef" up that area, since I now know I have a "weak link".
TTB bashers, jump all over it!

Looks like the top of your axle housing is beat up in that pic...did you over-compress once or twice?
Well, not that I know of.
I sure get a lot more "movement" out of the front end now that the sway bar is gone.
Looks like it broke when I was at full droop.
This is judging by the scratches on the shock, where it appears to have come into contact with the spring.

This might be a dumb question but its quick and easy, my shocks are BLOWN the thing bounces all over the place and leans like crazy, i figured i would replace them when i get a lift, if i take off the sway bars, can i get a good enough quality shock to where i wouldnt need the swaybar?

Sway Bar???? Oh that thing that looks like a pogo stick in the back, right?!?!?! Yea i ran gas charged shocks without em after i ran with the normal liquid dampening ones and i did notice a difference (in the ride and the wallet) but i went back to the liquid because i dont think that i need the awesome ride and handling cause i am not going 100 mph around corners.... lifted trucks just dont like it!!!
