·I've got a 97 K1500, 6" lift and 35" tires. I only have 41k miles on the truck. I was looking at the front of the truck and noticed it wasn't sitting level. Took out the tape measure and measured from the garage floor to the frame and sure enough, one side is sitting 1" lower than the other. Look at the torsion bar adjusters and they are set the same - top of bolt level with the bottom of the cross member. I had to turn the adjuster nut about 2 turns to get the right side to go up 3/4". Also, the cv shafts are at the same angle.
Is this normal for the torsion bars to get "weak"? I've had the lift in for about 25k miles and haven't had any problems. I haven't even done any hard off-roading with it.
So, do I go with new Rancho bars or GM 3/4 ton bars?
