hey guys, i need help here.....we were figuring crawl ratios, but we're stumped on the torque converter....

how do you figure the effective ratio of the torque convertor off-idle?

tranny: 3.06
tq. conv: ?
tcase: 2.72
gears: 3.42

thanks guys. i searched a little bit and found some good info....it wasn't exactly what i was lookin for, but i learned some new things /wwwthreads_images/icons/cool.gif

Fourwheeler mag listed the tq. conv. at 3:1 as well.

Working around auto trannys 3:1 or 2.70:1 are gerenally the figues I see, I'd say somewhere in that range
