NICE
I take it from the host site for your pictures you got the 6.0 psd? I like my 7.3, but the higher output and lighter weight of the 6.0 make me jealous! Congarts

Thanks guys. Been driving around as much as I can the last two days, finding excuses to go places. Just got back from the tire shop - had them mount the 305/70/16s that came off my Tahoe. These tires look much better on the truck, the stock tires just look too small.

that funny white stuff would be what we build our houses out of.

[/ QUOTE ] Hahaha. Ya got that right Nanuck. With all the huge drifts from the big wind last week I'm seriously considering building an igloo in my yard just for sh!ts and giggles.

[/ QUOTE ] LOL - And I was jealous of you before yesterday Tusker. I lurk at POR and see your posts, so I knew you had one of these. I can't compare between the two since this is my first (yes, I'm a diesel virgin) but by all accounts the 6.0L is quicker, quieter, and just generally more powerful than the 7.3L. I know some of the guys reading this in the know will say that the 6.0L is a piece of crap because there are countless problems with many of the '03s, but it appears Ford has resolved these issues in the second run of these motors so I should be safe with an '04. My fingers are crossed.

the bugs were worked out early on so there is absolutely nothing to worry about now. i don't really think you can go wrong with either the dodge (cummins) or ford (navistar/IH)diesels.

GM had better step up to the plate pretty soon because their isuzu built duramax diesel is currently the one-legged dog of the pack (big three diesels) by a widening margin and their diesel sales show it!
