Hey guys, I read a post here a few weeks ago about a cracked weld seam on the exhaust manifold of the 4.0L engines at around 60k. I think there was also mention of this being warrantied until 80k. Well now I have this problem and would like to find out if this true before I fix it myself. Thanks for any input.

There are extended emissions warrantys on the major components like the exhaust manifolds and cat-cons. Call up or stop by your friendly dealer, give them your VIN number and mileage and ask them to run a "VIP" check with Chrysler to see if your Jeep still has coverage on the part. It won't cost anything to check but time! Hope this helps, good luck!
