TJ axle parts into YJ axle

What parts of a 97 TJ axle will fit into a 95 YJ. Both are Dana 35's and I already know that the gears won't work. I'd hate to get rid of the whole thing if there will be spare parts that I could use.

Thanks

Richard

They are both D35 rear axle's? Why won't the gears work then? It's the front that wouldn't work since the YJ is reverse cut and the TJ is standard cut.
The only difference between those two axles are the spring perch/ TJ hardware, and maybe ABS (if either had it)

In that case, not much of anything is useful. They use different just about everything in them. Sorry can't be more helpful, maybe someone else can chime in and teach us both something new. /wwwthreads_images/icons/wink.gif

I thought the axle shafts from a TJ could be used in a YJ? this gets rid of the axle disconect but oh well, you get a stronger longside shaft and bigger U-joints if you have a pre-95 jeep
