33x12.5 on 8x15 wheels. Tires are Marshal (Kumho) Powerguard MT's an wheels are Mangels steelies. The tires are a quite sharp deal for the price (90$ea.) compared to BFG's and act pretty good on- and off-road. Would I buy them again? Yes! BUT in another size like 255/85x16 or 33x10.5

I am running Bridgestone M/T's that I have been very happy with (that's all I have ever run on my truck but, these are the first M/T's)
I have gotten pretty decent mileage out of them and they are not much noisier then the A/T's that proceeded them.
Have worked well off-road and in truth see much more rock and loose dirt than mud.

Cooper Discoverer STT... Similar to the old style BFG M/T... I've got about 10k on mine and they still look new, no noticable wear at all... /wwwthreads_images/icons/crazy.gif Work well in sand, snow and the little mud I've had 'em in...

I was looking at General Grabbers, but after calling around was told many owners come back to the dealers w/ split sidewalls. I found some BFG A/T 235/7515 for 330 mounted, balanced, free rotations as long as I own them. Not quite a mud tire, but a good price...

I used to run:

Good Year Wranglers A/T = puajj
General Grabber MT's = Nice ones but lasted 20.000 miles
Cooper Discoverer STT's = great tires, big longevity
National tires = Good deals, great all around ones
BFG A/Ts = good allaround tires, wear very slow, good for sand and gravel road, bad for extreme mud, nice on rocks.

I'm running 33x12.5 on 15x8 AR Kongs ....

For those running the coopers! Do you have a lot of rocky terrain in your area? Just curious since I've heard nothing but horror stories about there weak sidewalls in my area. They seem to plit on shale etc, very easily. I've never run them personally, but have seen them or should I say what was left of them a number of times from others.

Mine doesnt see any hardcore wheeling action but i do some local trails with a lot of creek bed type stuff, actually one trail is about 80% creek bed with lots of sharp ledges. I have a lot of scars on my sidewalls but no punctures yet. I am sure they are not as tough as BFG and Swamper sidewalls but they do great in mud, last a long time, and are not overpriced

You will have to work hard to fit anything over a 30" tire alarman depending on your lift. In particular the 11.5" wide rims will make this even harder. Personally if you can I would trade them in on max 8" wide rims. The rear edge of the front fender plus the cab are hard to get around. I have removed my inner plastic fender liner and pounded the seam of the cab back with a sledge hammer to fit 31" tires on 7" toyota fourrunner wheels. THis is with a 3" body and 2" suspension lift(cranked up tortion bars). I ran 33x9.50 for a short time on similar rims and under light off road conditions they rubbed very baddly. The 720 is definitely a pain in the ass to mount larger tires without changing the cab below the door hinge.

I used to run the Wild Country TXR's on my Nissan KC and I loved them. They were good on the highway and didn't turn into a wimpy tire offroad. I plan on going back to them on my Jeep after my Bridgestone Duelers M/T's goe south. (awesome tire the Dueler, just want more milaege as I have less time to wheel)

Hmmmmm, I wonder if cooper has re-contructed them over the past couple years? As for BFG sidewalls....don't hold your breath, they ain't all their cracked up to be. However in saying that, has anyone tried a set of BFG's new M/T's???
