Im lookin to get a new set of <nobr>tires</nobr>(33x12.50 15) and was wondering if anyone has had any experience with Dayton Timberline M/T's or now where i can get a price on em.

Also ive noticed some sites are havin a pro comp buy 3 get 1 free deal. I was thinkin bout maybe the Xterrains. Any thoughts?

Anyone have an input on Rough Country 4'' Suspension lift for TJ?

I've never seen the mastercrafts on the trail though they do look nice. A real real nice cheep mud tire is savero's. They work better than a bfg, look similar and are around $100 a piece. Give www.ultimate4.com I know they carry them, they also have the pro comp deal going on. I've never run x terrains though i've seen them a couple times and the times i've seen them they just havn't worked well. It was on slipery muddy hills and no rocks or sand. One guy had a tj with dual ox lockers and 33's, i had my tj with open diffs and almost bald 29" tsl's and i was making hills in 1 shot that took him 3 or 4 shots and i didn't have a lot of wheeling experiance at that point either so i'm betting it was the tires. You didn't put where you were down so i don't know what type of terrain you were whelling but from what i've seen they arn't a good tire for the midwest but some of the comp guys run em so they have to work pretty well on the rocks.

I had a set of pro comp they were no the Xterrains but they were 33"ers per Pro Comp. Per a real tape they only went 31"s. I do not know if that has changed but I would not go back to them.

I tried www.ultimate4.com and i didnt see those tires. Anyone have any any experiences with SS TSLs? I live in Southwestern PA so im doing alot of trail rides, mostly mud and clay. I heard the Xterrains have good forward traction but reverse isnt that great...also ive heard some ppl say that the Xterrains have a tendency to slide back and forth.

Also I was looking into the RE 3.5'' Superflex. I found a Rough Country 4'' for only 485.00 compared to the RE 770.00. I was just wondering if anyone has heard anything about the Rough Country or has experience with it.
Also any comments on the Superlift 4''?

A guy in my club had a 31" Xterrain blow out on him doing 65 on the highway. Needless to say, none of us now run any ProComp tire.

For strictly off road, you're probably not going to find much better than the TSL except maybe the IROK. If you need one for road use too, you'll have to make compromises either on off road traction or on road tire wear.

In PA...a Mud tire for sure. Especially in the spring. Whatever brand.

Give them a call, they have a lot of stuff that isnt on their web page. I don't get a kick back from dan but he has treated me well and has killer deals. Super Swampers TSL sx's are the best wheeling tire in my mind though they arn't cheep and i wouldn't run them on a daily driver (been there, done that, now i have a truck with mall terrains on it, much nicer).
