I have a 1980 CJ5 with a 3" body lift and running 35" tires the tires rub when I turn sharp and I would like to know if I could add a two inch suspension lift of some kine to clear this problem. Or would I be able to instal spacers to allow more space.

What do the tires rub on when you crank it sharp? Are they rubbing the body? Or are they rubbing the leaf springs. If it's the second option, I doubt a lift will help much. I installed some longer wheel stops(not sure what they're called) on the back of my knuckles. This kept the tire from turning all the way and eating my leaf. If the tires are rubbing the body, get longer bumpstops, get some more lift, or get a sawzall!!!!!

it could also be your backspacing on your rims. when i was using stock rims w/ 33x10.50's, they would rub at full lock, but when i got new rims and tires, they don't rub at all.
