I got a jeep from someone that has Bfg mudterrain tires all around. upon closer inspection I noticed it has 31/10.5/15's on the front and 32/11.5/15's on the back. I didnt notice it or anything unusual on the drive everything seemed to work fine. I asked around and was told by a guy I work with thats how he ran both of his CJ's and didnt have any problems at all because its really less than a 1 inch difference in tire size its not enough to matter. I wanted to ask if anyone else has done this? any problems with the drive train?

Got rid of 2 Suzuki Samurai's and got serious I got an 89YJ Wrangler with 32's and hardtop, origional Rebuilt engine 120K miles. and the economy vehicle is a 2000XL Harley Davidson Sportster.

Sounds like it was set up for mud running as sometimes slightly smaller tires are used up front to spin faster than the rear tires.

I am in the Army stationed at Ft. Drum its at Watertown. about 30 miles south of Canada on I-81. I've been here since the Ice storm of 98

The larger tires would cover a greater distance at the same RPM, thus that axle would be the fastest.

I'm on here so much, I have carpal tunnel reader syndrone.

Oops, that is right. I can't think of any reason they would be that way then.

Just don't rotate them, you'd be driving like NasCar.

Did you know they actually have different strength suspention for different sides on those cars, the damn things corner on a dime going left, but you couldn't for the life of you make it turn to the right.

Do you think insurance will cover the carb if it some how "teleports" behind the tires of a 350 with dualies?

when you drive one on a roadcourse, you could :) They have many different suspension configurations for every track. Depends on the slop of each turn, pavement of the track, and weather conditions. Really is more high tech than you think. Yes, the camber degree is set up in accordance to the track degree

It can't be done? HA, they MUST be crazy...
