I run 35x12.5x15 BFG Mud terrain tires with a 4" suspension lift, 2" body lift, 1" extended shackles, and rear TJ flares (with some metal cut out) on my Scrambler. A 304 V-8 pushes it with 4:10 gears and a Detroit Locker in the Ford 9" rear.

I've still got 31x10.50 on my stock rims but plan on 33" Buckshots in the near future. Check it out right after my suspension lift.

32x11.5 and in a month 35x12.5 go big or go home...couldn't decide between 33's and 35's and then realized if I got the 33's I would just want bigger

Okay, I'll jump in here since I technically still own a '74 CJ5 - even if it is in a state of ruin. My '74 had L78's originally, that became 31X10.50 Cooper STT's, then 2.5" lift & eventually 33X12.50 TSL's. My '78 CJ5 had 4" lift springs (spring UNDER) plus shackles & 3" body lift. Front tires were 38X12.50 TSL's on 10" rims mounted to a full-width Scout II 44 with 3.54's. The rear was a narrow-track 44 from a '74 CJ5 with 3.73's & my rear tires were 38.5X16 TSL's on 15x15" rims. Currently running Q78 TSL's on my Toy.

Started out with 225/15's on stock rims on the Scrambler. Added 4" Superlift, 1" shackle, and 2" body lift, running 33x12.5 Swamper Bias Plys on 8" rims. Will downgrade to 7" rims soon. Will go to 38.5x11 Boggers in a year after the 350 swap.

TJ came stock with 30x9.5's and we went to 31x10.5's BFG's in 15K, highly recommend the switch. Still running the BFG's and will continue for another 35K or so, then 33x12.5's.

Commando came stock with 225/15's, running 235/15 BFG AT's now, no lift yet and they were free /wwwthreads_images/icons/smile.gif. Will run 31x10.5's probably after the lift, will keep it fairly stock as it's a rarer jeep (SC-1).

CJ-2A. Running stock tires (don't even remember what they are (isn't that terrible!). Will go to 32x9.5 Swamper Bias Plys after the mods, I thought about 34's, but for the wife and the L-134, they're just too tall.

CJ-3A. Stock as well, and it'll remain that way for a while. Then the body will be lengthened to fit a Scout II frame (body is mostly shot anyway), SOA (even though they're illegal) with D70 rear and D60 front. I'll probably go with 39" Boggers on this one. I'm talking down the road a ways first. I have to do the 2A and Commando first, as well as keep them all running.
