hey people, i just wanted to drop some info....before the last fill up, i upped my PSI in the tires from about 32-35 to 40 PSI...... before we flame broil monica on the Good Tread Wear lecture, the tires are marking pretty well. I can tell when i go from pavement to dirt road.... Anyway /wwwthreads_images/icons/crazy.gif normally, where the gas gauge sits at the last white line before the dotted red line, the trip odo would be marking around 268-275.... FYI, my trip odo says 295 /wwwthreads_images/icons/shocked.gif neato /wwwthreads_images/icons/smile.gif
hwy/city driving habits were the same. i used cruise control on the same stretch of roads that i normally use at the same speed. outside temp has been consistent. the only thing i did was fix my interior courtesy light and air up the tires a lil' more...unless those courtesy lights really do help the MPG /wwwthreads_images/icons/crazy.gif
i still need to open the gap on the spark plugs, but i can't find the little gapper flapper measuring thingy /wwwthreads_images/icons/mad.gif now is prime time so i can fill up and keep tabs on the mpg.
Shorts <-- It's not what you think /wwwthreads_images/icons/smile.gif ...and don't ask what it is
