We're building up a '98 TJ sahara wit a 3" S3T TeraFlex system. If you know anything about doestch (sp?) tech shocks or RS9000s on a TJ, Please see my other post. But My new question is: We know we cant Run the targetd 33x12.50 BFG M/Ts on the factory 7" rim, so we're upgrading to 8" rims...What can you tell me about whats a good wheel to use? Aluminum or Chrome? Made by who? The Jeep will spend nearly all of its time on the highway, and maybe occasionally see a dirty road. The emphasis of this buildup is QUALITY and not to save money. So We don't mind spending a little (or a lot) more for an item that is better. Thanks in advance....

i live by the 9000's.. love that adjusting for firm or soft.. on or off road. had a pair of the doestch.. stiff as hell.. this was about 5 or so years ago. rims.. mmmm.. mickey thompsons are the best. light and really sharp. alittle over priced for my wallet. but they are awesome rims. other than that.. chrome is easier to keep shiny, easier to rust.. aluminum harder to keep shiny, harder to rust.

survival is instinct, but living takes guts

I couldn't agree more. If your after the best go with Mickey Thompson. They are the absolute best.
