Does anybody know who has tie rod ends/ball joints in stock for a '72 jeepster commando? I thought I saw them on one somebodie's website awhile ago, but can't find them now. We've got SNOW coming down right now, so I cranked old Roland up for a test run. Wow!! Wandering back and forth across both lanes leaves cool tracks!
Probably better fix it though.

Thanks RQ,
I've got the local NAPA dealer to the point where they all go hide when they see me coming. Something to do with AMC Rambler vs Rambler Classic (no, I'm not eccentric!)I'll check with them tomorrow if the threat of snow doesn't keep them at home. (should own jeepsters!)

I appreciate the advice and help,

find a jeepster for your napa guy to buy. helps a lot when they own one too like i do. info from this forum really helps me to know what to look for in my books and what will interchange from cj to jeepster. lots of jeepster stuff i look up by size instead of application. i still buy stuff from thejeepguy ryan though. he is fair has good parts and you get the stuff pretty fast. napajoe

Hahaha, my NAPA guy has no class. He'd never own anything as sporty or handsome as a jeepster! Just heard from Ryan. I'll probably get the parts on the way from him. I'm sure it'll be quicker than having NAPA try to find the parts book. Thanks

yea you can't go wrong with ryan for sure. one of my co=workers has a 64 1/2 mustang that hailed from oregon, and a 56 f100 with a 390, and a few more mustangs etc. the other co-worker has a 65 karman ghia. i am lucky i guess huh. good luck with your project.

Thanks everybody, Ryan seems to be THE source.
I appreciate all the help. I've spent the last 20 years badgering the local NAPA stores for parts. They usually come through, but only after I take the parts books from the youngsters and look it up myself. ( try asking a 19 yr old for Rambler parts!)

Joe, does your co-worker have a spare 390? I need a replacement for my '75 ford 3/4 ton p-up!

at 55 i guess i am the old one maybe at my napa store huh, oh oh one of my coworkers is 70 and another one 75, guess not. we are not your normal napa. today we had parts needed for everything but cars. everything from a willys motored portable welder to bulldozers to tractors to boats. my neighbor has a 390 next to his, get this, 64 galaxie 500 xl 427 bubble hood dual 4 bbl monster. doubt he would part with either of them though. will be on the lookout for you though, lots of ford heads around here.
