I own a 94 Nissan Ext Cab XE-V6. Whenever I crank the truck up, and first start going, a strange click-click noise comes from the engine. It originally sounded like it was the trans... but it does it in neutral if you rev the engine. I didn't think that the 94's were affected by the manifold problem. Any ideas what it could be. The truck only has 50K miles on it

My '95 Pathfinder used to do the same thing. I believe that it was the valve train. There is no oil in the heads when you cold start your truck and it takes a bit of time to get up there. if it takes longer then 5 - 10 secs, you should check your oil lever. maybe low or you have a different problem. what i did was get an Autolite oil filter that comes with and engine treatment in it and i've yet to hear the valve train in the last 4,000 miles. i would assume that and engine treatment on it's own would do the same think.
