I really wish I could meet more guys/girls locally like the ones on those two banshees that gave me a run down a main road at 85 mph. Thats my kinds of riding...

Just wanted to let everyone know a little bit about the atvsource chatroom. The atvsource chatroom was started this spring to give atvers a place to go chat about atvs, life, trips, mods, etc... without the childish participation that has occoured in that other atv chatroom. We do not promote "my quad is faster then ur quad" or you "suck because you drive this kind of quad". This is a friendly chatroom that is open to everyone. We try our best to keep it under control and yet let everyone have a good time. To promote some friendly competion we have a trivia night every Thursday night with 3 questions being asked and the 1st 5 correct answers on B370's monitor receive points. At the end of the night we total up the points and the top 2 people get prizes. We also keep track of the points for the month and the winner receives and $75 gift certificate from Nacs Racing. So far prizes for the chatroom have been given by K&K atv, LRD, Alba Banshee, Cal-ATV, 4 Quad Thunder, and FMF. The prizes have ranged from a Aluminum workstand to T-shirts. At times the chatroom is slow in traffic but usually around 9 pm EST it picks up and there is always someone who wants to take about quads and quads mods or rides in there at that time.

I would like to invite everyone to come and visit us there. I personally use both the chatroom and the forum boards to gain knowledge about atving. Because of the chatroom B370 has been able to organize a trip to Silver Lake Mich. for the last 2 yrs with over 50 chatters participating in the event, and all this was organized through the chatroom conversations that took place.

there is this one woman where i buy my gas at, she prob 28, she rides a banshee.she full figured if you know what i mean, i think she races too. i seen some youngins on the back of 2 banshhes up at jim thorpe in pa but they were doing hills with no helmets , no gear, nothing. asking for trouble. i've done some stupid stuff in my day but gear is one thing i do wear. girls are rare around here also. would be nice to go with a bitty, especially if they were good!!! stopping to check out the woods wouldn't be that bad then eh!

 

ahahahahahaha well yz...up until this year i NEVER wore riding gear....hell if i had been wearing a helmet in my accident 11 years ago, the doctor told me I would most likely not be here today...and if i were i would have been paralyzed....but with the insane crap I do and the fact that I am now WISER (note i didnt say older ) and am a father...I figured it was time to be a lil more safe...so...if they werent ridin with appropriate gear...maybe it is a good way to go talk to them and start up a convo hehehehe...always lookin for the line...can ya tell i raced? ahahahahahaha

Im with you guys, love this forum. Had my first over the handle bars experience. Fell off every other way but this was my first. Didnt get hurt and neither did the banshee. Yee Haa. Ridem Cow Boy!!!! Whooping somebody's butt in High Marking is fun until drop off a ledge at the top. Well gotta go, keep riding, and keep getting crazy. Im outta here.

Yeah. I love my bike, she's a beauty, but I feel kindof bad because I don't think I fully appreciate all she has to offer. I have only been out with her a couple of times, so I know it it just going to take time and lots of practice. We usually go out to the desert, and she is hard for me to ride in the sand. My fault 'cuz I don't go fast enough, but not quite ready for that. New to riding any OHV, and not skilled, as I proved on the last trip out to the desert...Even on a 3 wheeler, I managed to roll it. Well, at least that's what I think I did. I don't remember. All I know is the handlebars are bent, the forks are twisted, and the whip broke off at the base...Not to mention my poor boyfriend having to haul my dumb ass to the hospital that night with a nice little concussion and fractured arm. Thank God for helmets! Worst part about it (besides beating up that poor bike that wasn't mine) was havig to take out my eye jewelry for the CAT scans, and not being able to get it back in...And now I have a scar but no jewelry.
Oh well, I have babbled on FAR too long about things probably quite irrelevant, now it's time to go to work.

How fast were you goin when you rolled that? Im always rollin the 4-wheeler i have now, mainly cuz of wheeleie's and stoppies, but i havn't really hurt myself?! What kind of dirtbike do you have?

Honestly, I don't know how fast I was going. Probably not fast enough. I don't remember squat about the entire incident 'cept waking up screaming and shivering and eating/drooling sand. Yummy. What I gather from what I have been told is that I think I was attempting to go sideways on a hill with a 45 degree or so angle and, uh, it didn't work too well.
Funny thing is that the bike lost me but kept on going, over and hill and off a little jump, and then turned around and came back and parked itself about 10 feet away from where I landed...Literally, a few minutes later. I guess the throttle stuck...
Anyway, my bike's a 2000 Honda CR80. She's a sweetie!
