Ok, so I have come to a conclusion in life. Only thing left to do on white truck is an ARB in the front and a winch. After that it gets no more of my money... I WANT THE WILLYS DONE DAMNIT!

So, I'm getting going on it again and started ordering more parts. Anyone got 2 grand to loan so I can buy the heim ends?

But anyway, appearing on my front porch friday will be these:

I knew I read that somewhere but I thought it was another post about something else.

I didn't know you could do that with a 4L80e. How do two gears magically appear?

The only 6-speed I was aware of was (is?) the one Furd and GM were going to joint-venture on. My Dad told me about that over a year ago and they still haven't done it yet.

You tha man. Yeah went and found the Atlas, 3.0./3.8/4.3:1 Ratios. Still digging for manufacturer's page on Klune V...ugh, I'm gonna get flamed for this... it's www.klunev.com

So let me see if I understand this... JET has packed 2 more gears into a 4L80-E? That's cool... Had no idea it was possible. So with your P-R-N-1-2-3-OD how do you manually hit 4&5? Tow/Haul Switch? Is your willys gonna be trailered to trails/sites, or driven down the road in all its splendor and glory?

I have no idea but it's all in the valve body since thats all you buy to make it work. But the valve body does look impressive with tubes running everywhere... I saw it at SEMA and it worked and I have the catalog in front of me so I know it exists

Glad to hear the Willy's project is up and going again. I've been wandering lately, did you ever pick the fuel delivery method for the 496?

3:1 ratio for the 205?

Oh yeah, I haven't forgotten about my hitch skidplate. I'll get back to you with the measurements soon.

In reply to:

Why would you want the torque converter to lock up in first gear? This would make it have less of a torque multiplication

so you can ride the engine compression better down a hill

torque convertor clutches arent normally designed to hold much torque though, so you'd have to be real careful about doing that if JET doesnt beef up the convertor clutch substantially. i dont think it'll be necessary though, Jason's gonna have plenty low gearing as it is

Jason, does it really have 6 forward speeds or are they counting R and N in there for 6 total? I've never heard of such a thing... sounds cool
