The TH400 tranny in my 78 CJ is leaking (ever so slightly) from the modulator assembly (only while the tranny is cooling, which is weird.) I pulled the modulator and the modulator adapter to check the O-rings. Come to find out there is no Modulator lever in the adapter. I called a local tranny shop, and the local Jeep dealer. All they could tell me was "good luck finding one." Anyone got any ideas? Also, how was it working without it?
