/wwwthreads_images/icons/crazy.gif First....release the caps key. Next....go read the one-hundred kazillion posts about how to upgrade the AMC V8 with Ford/Duraspark ignition components. There must be at least thirty complete threads on how to do all that stuff, from part numbers to pictures. Yes, go with the TFI coil, by all means. Yes...it needs resistance or you will smoke the module. If nothing else, by using the TFI coil instead of the Accel, it will be easier to find when you are on the run from the Klintunoid Anti-Gun/SUV cops who are chasing down all of us to confiscate our Jeeps./wwwthreads_images/icons/frown.gif

/wwwthreads_images/icons/tongue.gif The TFI coil will operate OK on the 1.35 Ohms of resistance that SOME Jeep have built in, so you would be OK if the wiring diagram shows the resistor wire to the stock coil. If you go 12V it will smoke the DS module. The TFI coil can operate fine up to about 5./wwwthreads_images/icons/tongue.gif
