I just installed a Tera low kit (low 20) everything fits well, but I pulled the drive gear off the transmission output shaft to install the new one from the kit and it is 6 spline. Mine is a 10 spline. What's up with that? does that mean I don't have a Dana 20 xfer case?Or maybe they sent the wrong gear. Anyone have advice or ideas? /wwwthreads_images/icons/shocked.gif HELP!

Jerry, It means you have a T-14 Transmisson. The early jeepster had a T-86 trans. 6 spline, the late[69 up] had a T-14 ten spline, you have to tell them which you have, they arn't smart enough to ask.

Jerry, just got my Tera low a couple of days ago. Right now I'm rebuilding a SM420 and its got a 10 spine output also. But the adaptor kit from Novak puts it back to 6 spline. My Tera low kit has a 6 spline gear in it too. I sure hope when I pull the xfer case that its not 10 spline.
