In case anyone is interested, I just bought the domain name, TeamRush.com.
I don't know how fast the web site will be up and running, but I have spoken to several people willing to contribute, and I think I'm going to do it.

(Sponsors anyone?...)

If anyone is in contact with CJ Dave, Please let him know about this (revolting) devlopment... /wwwthreads_images/icons/wink.gif

Yup...

Like I said, I'm the perfect idiot when it comes to web page building.... I know just enough to let people talk me into anything.

Ummm Aaron,

I've never been arrested and couldn't make it into the military because of my back, but I qualify for all if the others (especially the cat -- owned too many of them growing up). So can I still come over?/wwwthreads_images/icons/crazy.gif

Actually, I'm just now getting to know FrontPage as I have been asked to maintain our site at work. Its a great piece of software.

The best comparison is with MS Word and Adobe Pagemaker.

I do graphical design work and have come to appreciate the powers of Pagemaker. It does so many things that Word can not. I use it almost exclusively because the things I want to do are not possible with the bulk of design software out there.

Now, does this mean that everybody should rush out and get Pagemaker? No. I have tried to show my co-workers how to use Pagemaker, but its just not as simple. For them, I have installed MS word. Its easier and faster for them and gets the job done effciently.

For a simple DIY website, I wouldn't hesitate to back FrontPage. It was designed for the average user. Now if you know how to "cheat", then you can get some amazing things done...kinda like with Jeeps!

You've got offers aplenty, but I'll still add mine. If you need anything, let me know.

The best thing to do though is get a good graphics manipulation software and make full use of the help files.

Above all, be creative. Worst comes to worst, you have to start over. Not like accidently setting the garage on fire/wwwthreads_images/icons/wink.gif.

Hi Aaron,

I had a couple of hours to kill last night so I knocked this up for you.

It`s just a mockup JPEG chopped up and inserted into a HTML page and I haven`t optimised it so it may take a while to load but I thought you guys might want to take a look (just to throw some more creative logs on the fire).

Feel free to use it, abuse it, laugh at it, whatever all I ask is for a link if you do use it(I`ll send you all the source files if you need them).

I`ve been tinkering with the idea of making a couple free Jeep templates for guys who want to document their builds or mods or just show off their rigs. What do you guy's think?

Well take a look at the mock up at >http://www.imagedesign.org.uk/tr/Tr3.htm and let me know what you think.

Cheers.

Nick.

Happy Trails!!

If theres anything I can do to help, let me know, unfortunately I don't know alot about web page building, I did our club page, but its nothing intricate and still a work in progress when I have the time....but I will do what I can to help out. I think your page will be a great reference tool and help out alot....If I learn more about the web thing I'll let you know, but until then I'm just a good 'ol boy ******* trying to build me up a coupla jeeps...and I agree that the post count don't mean a thing, I've been hanging here a couple of years and have learned alot more than I would have otherwise,,,thanks to everyone here for that...
