Did my taxes the other night and found I will be getting back double what I did last year (that you Mr. Bush). I have already purchased my 74 CJ-5 with some of it and have many ideas how to spend the rest on the darn thing. So what cool projects have you all got lined up?

Yeah, hopefully I can get most of what I want done with this refund and not have to dip into other things to get here road worthy. It's a love/hate relationship with all things automotive. I love to spend the money on em', but I hate to spend money on em'.

Unfortunately my return is going to go toward spaying off the credit card debt. Since I used it getting jeep parts, and with a baby coming, i have to keep from sacrificing a jeep. So away with the tax return, i will always upgrade later on, actually once i get my jeep back together i will be very with it for right now

[bleep], Mine was already gone before I got it! And this year I was able to claim a child and my wife who didn't work at all this past year. at least not for money. Federal is already gone, and a few hundred for State is still on it's way. maybe I can sneak some of that into a rear disc brake set-up or my SOA and Tires!

I get the new baby break this year. My refund is going to be split 3 ways. Me, Wife, & my nine month old. Hopefully I'm going to get a used Lincoln 225 stick welder for around $100 or less (learn to weld the hard way), that o2/Acetylene(sp) torch at Lowes, maybe a new floor pan & firewall if I can twist the old ladies arm. I also know where I can get a the Dana 44's off a 78 Wagoneer for $300. Man, what a choice. (I wonder if I can talk the youngster into new rims for the D44's?)

In my workshop right now I have A D44 Rear from a 88GW. Front and rear driveshafts from same 88GW. A 350 flywheel, and clutch.
I have on the way to my shop... Good old UPS.. A SM456, attached to a NP205. And a front D44 from a mid 70's Grand waggie. And I am currently working on getting a D300.

My tax money is going to go into rebuilding all of the above. Then getting a 350 (in working order) Then putting that whole mess into my Jeep.
I don't think that my Tax return will be even close to enough to get the whole thing done. But it should be enough to give the project a little kick of speed. Sure is going to be nice when that pile of ugly parts are actually attached to my jeep and working together.

If I get anything back, it's going towards fixing up the J-10 to be a daily driver, that way I can sell the Comanche and still have something to drive.

When I sell the Comanche... that money goes towards the credit cards, paying my sis for the big dent in her car, and paying my dad back what I owe him.

Same as always I suppose. We always knock down a few bills early and hit the principle on the house with an extra shot. Beyond that I'm going to try and make it "secure" our trip to attica. If there's anything left I'll probally let the wife have it. She earned it recently for putting up with me, jeepgod, elusive, mav750, and my buddy for a weekend.

Did I mention..........she earned it.

I'm using mine to move from Oregon to Alabama. I sent my girlfriend out early and I stayed behind to tie up loose ends. Wouldn't ya know it she went into labor 8 weeks early. Mom and Son are both doing great despite his only weighing 3 lbs 5 oz. I told her that I was selling the Jeep to get there and she said don't you dare!! You've worked too hard on it. God I love that woman. Now I have two boys to be future jeepers. Only problem is I don't think that I can tow my Willys with a Tempo so my friend said that I can keep it at his place. Who said that those early Bronco guys were all bad?
